Ideally, you should register your domain name in as many suffixes as possible to avoid the possibility of competitors registering variations of your name.
I have just registered a domain name. How long until it starts working?
Once you have registered a domain name, it will take 48 - 72 hours for the name to start working as you would expect.
During this 48 - 72 hours period, anything that uses your domain name, including your website and email, will not be fully functional, although you may see your website and email working at times.
Please allow this propogation period to pass before submitting any enquiries regarding your domain name not working.
What does DETAGGED mean?
Detagged only applies to .uk domain names, and means that the domain name in question has previously been registered, but is now in the process of deactivation.
